My Rangoli Pattern

I made a rangoli pattern to welcome visitors to our classroom. Rangoli patterns are for the Diwali celebration .

Going to my cousin’s birthday

On the holidays I was going to my cousin’s birthday in January.

His name is Neko Paniki Keef.

He was turning 2.

I went with my mum, my nanny also

my brother and sister.

His birthday was at a park in Whangarei.

First we sang… “Happy birthday to you.”

It was fun. Everyone was singing.

Then we ate some of his yummy,

scrumptious light blue cake.

I thought the cake looked incredible.

It was a Cookie Monster cake.

Next we had some food and

I had two yummy, crunchy crispy sausage rolls. 

After that I had a drink and it was fizzy.

It was in a bottle and the colour was ruby red rose.

It was bubbling and fizzing.

I thought it was delicious. 

Finally we had a fun play.

Homework

Learning is important.

We need to learn at school and at home.

I think we should do homework every day.

Firstly I think we should do homework because it  helps you to achieve your goals.

If you achieve your goals that means you have been doing your homework and you are growing your brain.

Secondly I think we should do homework every day so that we get 100% in our spelling.

If you don’t do your homework then you will not get 100% in your spelling.

Thirdly I think we should do homework so that we can grow our brain smarter and stronger.

If you do your homework then you will grow your brain smarter and stronger.

So that’s why I think we should do homework.
